On June 27th, 2013 Hooters will crown a new Miss International at the 17th Annual International Swimsuit Pageant. This year’s event will be held at The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas. The pageant will feature the top 60 Hooters Girls from around the world competing for over $150,000 in cash and prizes. Guest judges include NFL legend Terrell Owens, Audrina Patridge, Chuck Liddell, Cynthia Bailey, Jay Williams, Lance Smith, Lt. Col. Jason Amerine and Susie Castillo.
During Pageant week, the contestants have photo shoots with Hooters Magazine and Calendar photographers. They also participate in on-line programs, Facebook updates and Tweets. Along with the $30,000 cash prize for Miss Hooters International, there are a number of ways for girls to win including Top 10 Winners, Viewer’s Choice, Miss Photogenic, Miss Congeniality and Miss World chosen from the international contestants.
The 2012 Pageant was hosted by pop music star, Mark McGrath and included famous name judges Jason Ellis, Big Black, and Willis McGahee. Past Pageants have included celebrity judges such as: Brooke Burke, Michael Irvin, Tom Arnold, Dale Earnhardt Jr., John Salley, Joey Fatone, Alonzo Mourning, Michael Yo, Leann Tweeden, Helio Castronoves, Tiffany Fallon, Eddie George, Lance Briggs, and others!
The Hooters 2012 International Swimsuit Pageant aired on FX and was seen by hundreds of thousands & was a Top 10 cable program for Men 18-34! In social media, The Hooters 2012 International Swimsuit Pageant was ranked #7 in prime for the day and had 8.4k tweets. It was the #3 social show on FX for the week! Encores of the pageant also aired multiple times on Fuel-TV as well as Fox Deportes reaching millions of additional Hooters Swimsuit Pageant fans!
This year’s Pageant will be broadcast live on Fuel-TV in the heart of prime time from 9-11pm following a strong UFC program lead-in. But that’s not all… there will also be two 9-11p prime time encore airings of the show on Speed Television in July! This double header will take place the week of July 15th: First on Wednesday the 17th, the night after the All Star Game (free of any baseball programming competition), and again on Sunday evening the 21st, an off day for NASCAR programming! Promotion for all Pageant airings will span multiple TV networks including Fuel, FX, and Speed as well as a strong digital promotion on FoxSports.com. A one-hour cut-down version of the Pageant will also air multiple times on Fuel-TV as well as Fox Deportes beginning in late August.
Clearly the Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant is much more than just a swimsuit contest. It is at the heart of the Hooters concept.
